The Lake Tibet Property Owners Association has contracted with Aquatic Technologies, Inc., of Branchville, New Jersey, to perform hydro-raking within the southern sections of Lake Tibet. The purpose of the hydro-raking is to remove the lily pad root systems. For more information regarding the hydro-raking method, please visit this website.
The hydro-raking will begin the first week in April and will be performed for 5 days. This is being paid for by the Lake Tibet Park District funds and will cost approximately $14,300.
Aquatic Technologies is also contracting directly with waterfront property owners to have individual waterfront areas hydro-raked. Many thanks to the residents who have agreed to pay for this service....having more of the lake hydro-raked benefits us all!
Please note, the hydro-raking is being performed under a NYS Department of Environmental Conservation permit.
